Our Mission and Vision

Space4Climate is a not‑for‑profit, cross‑government, academic and industry community, chaired by the UK Space Agency.

Our mission is to drive adoption of robust, trusted satellite Earth Observation technology and derived services, fuelling commercial growth, boosting national climate resilience and delivering societal and environmental value through a united UK EO industry, research and policy community.

Since 2014 we have been convening organisations across the value chain, from research to commercialisation, to accelerate innovation, capability development and climate resilience. We have gained a trusted reputation internationally, nationally and regionally.

Our members represent UK expertise involved in satellite Earth Observation data from mission creation, dataset collation, verification and quality assurance through to analytics and processing of the information. They are at the forefront of innovating to create products and services based on this data to address the critical challenges facing the environment, society, infrastructure and economy.
