Space4Climate is delighted to welcome Krupa Nanda Kumar as our Interim Manager.
Krupa is on six months’ secondment from Telespazio UK while Space4Climate recruits a long-term manager to head-up our organisation that supports and promotes the UK’s Earth Observation climate community.
Specialising in electronics and communication engineering with a master’s degree in innovation and technology management, Krupa has worked in the space industry for more than six years, across Earth Observation and satellite communications. Building on successful showcase at COP26
As part of Telespazio UK’s Geo Information Marketing and Sales team, Krupa has led the climate and environment, transportation, agriculture and forestry campaigns and managed a diverse portfolio of innovative satellite-based services.
Krupa says: “I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Space4Climate team and supporting the world-leading UK Earth Observation ecosystem. Building on the successful showcase of UK space climate expertise at COP26 last year, the team is working on exciting initiatives and I am looking forward to working closely with our community of members, partners and end users.”
Flourishing UK EO climate community
Space4Climate Chair Beth Greenaway, Head of Earth Observation and Climate at the UK Space Agency, welcomed Krupa, saying: “Krupa brings a fresh skills set to Space4Climate at an exciting time in the flourishing UK EO climate community. Our members and the whole community will benefit and we are grateful to Telespazio UK for facilitating this secondment.”
