Join the 1st Space4Climate Net Zero working group as it identifies high CO2e impact opportunities using UK Earth Observation (EO) capabilities, online, Tuesday, October 25th, 9.30-11am
The Net Zero Working Group is a proposed set of innovation activities within the Space4Climate community, aiming to:
- Identify high CO2e impact opportunities utilising UK Earth Observation (EO) capabilities
- Catalyse actionable solutions through the network of expertise of members.
The first Net Zero workshop will focus on exploring EO based solutions to decarbonize the finance industry and its activities. Findings from in-depth market research conducted with leading financial institutes in the UK will be introduced at the workshop to kick off the interactive session with the aim to identify the top 3 ideas that will utilise EO data, services and skills to take forward into the development phase of the working group. It will also be an opportunity to enrol members into the working group and agree on best practices for development towards a pre-commercial service.
Details on the Space4Climate Net Zero working group structure and process will be shared at the workshop along with instructions on how to enrol for both members and non-members.
This event is open for all, Space4Climate members and non-members, who work with EO data for climate services, spatial finance and other relevant EO disciplines.
Space4Climate is looking forward to convening a diverse group of EO climate data experts and service providers to engage on innovative ideas to bridge the gap on EO adoption for the finance sector.
This is a free event, but booking is essential via eventbrite.
Note: No fees involved to join the membership and enrol onto the working group.
