What a great way to start the new year – Space4Climate is holding our first in-person member meeting since the pandemic
We are drawing up the agenda for our 1st Members’ Conference and thank you to all who have RSVP’d. The meeting will begin with registration and coffee at 9.30am for a 10am start at Ordnance Survey’s Geovation venue and will end with a late lunch and networking session, closing at 3.30pm.
This event will feature targeted talks providing members with direction and opportunities for ideas and collaboration to accelerate UK Earth Observation (EO) climate service capabilities.
Key topics will include:
- Important Space4Climate programme plan announcements
- Key stakeholders will brief on recent announcements around Government spending across ESA and national EO programmes and what it means for the climate sector specifically.
- Discussion sessions to deep-dive into selected topics of interest and urgency.
We hope to see as many members as possible to get the most out of our networking session – so many new members have joined in the last couple of years and faces have changed. This will also be an opportunity to meet new members of the Space4Climate team. We will be making arrangements for those who cannot be there in person to join online.
The agenda will be shared closer to the date.
Please RSVP for yourself and any colleagues via our Google form as we need accurate numbers for catering: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdZLcEa6Ba_5Ud0AwHdq3crDpf3nYFj7k-eZzg_WLqgNmpQFQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
