Reseau brings Space4Climate’s membership to 82, representing UK-based Earth Observation expertise in industry, academia and policy. Our industry members range from multinational corporations with UK offices, to SMEs and innovative startups. They operate across the whole value chain of climate data from space, from research to instrument design and build, to data gathering and analytics through to the crucial development of climate services, products and decision support platforms.

Climate insights and services

As part of our growing network, Reseau Consulting will collaborate with our diverse community of researchers, industry leaders and policymakers. Their involvement will further strengthen our collective efforts to provide robust, actionable climate insights and services for the UK and beyond. For example, Reseau facilitates a network of women geospatial practitioners from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. These women are working in numerous areas from climate justice to water security; some of them are based in the UK.

Steven said of joining Space4Climate: “Reseau Consulting is working across the geospatial data value chain with small to medium-sized companies, as well as international and intergovernmental organisations. Much of our work drives value and impact globally, underpinned by data quality, accessibility, interoperability and integration. The work of Space4Climate to connect producers and users of trusted Earth Observation data and space-enabled climate analytics and services aligns well with our goals and vision.”

National and international platforms

Space4Climate is chaired by the UK Space Agency as a non-commercial organisation to support and promote climate data from space and its innovation for services and products for climate decisions and climate action. With and on behalf of members Space4Climate promotes the role of space in underpinning climate policy, action and services, enabling and encouraging the use of trusted climate data, and the development and take-up of climate services and products.

We represent members on the national and international climate stage, including at the world climate summits COP, where members can join our panel events and stands. Through Space4Climate’s events and meetings members have direct access to cutting-edge climate science and data, new climate satellite missions and discussions about decisions on climate policy and funding initiatives. The group provides an active forum for collaborations, knowledge exchange and funding initiatives, responding quickly to emerging climate topics that can be informed and addressed using climate data from space.
