Join us at agritech conference
S4C is taking a stand at a new event for us, the REAP Conference, organised by Agri-TechE. It is being held in Peterborough on November 4th, and we will feature members’ case studies with applications in the agriculture sector.
Attendees come from all aspects of the agriculture sector, from growers, suppliers and consultants to leaders in agritech research, policy and innovation. Our members UKRI are sponsors.
There are three opportunities for Space4Climate members to get involved:
- Industry members – make sure we have your latest and new case studies or join us in-person to engage visitors in live demonstrations. Request the case study template from Sally, stevens@reading.ac.uk
- Researchers – join us to showcase your latest work or platforms.
- Policy members – engage directly with practitioners and growers.
The annual event focuses on the needs of farmers and the everyday challenges they face, and cutting-edge solutions and services that are available. This year’s theme is ‘From promise to practice; what’s good enough?’
Features include:
- The Start-up Showcase, a line-up of innovative early-stage ventures and live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies in action.
- Research Into Practice session, highlighting the latest agri-tech research from institutions and farms across the UK.
- Speakers and networking.
The conference is open from 8.00am,-6.30pm, and ticket prices range from £150-£300+VAT.
