1 June, 2023: UK Space Climate Programmes Information Day

Events  |  01 February, 2023

Hear from the leads of 5 major UK space climate programmes who will give updates on upcoming funding opportunities, benefiting academia & industry.

Space4Climate is hosting this important webinar on behalf of the UK Space Agency, providing early information on future opportunities. The speakers are involved in programmes that will be delivering funding that recognises the importance of the UK Earth Observation for the climate sector. The session is aimed at industry and academia.

We will be joined by the leads of five major space climate programmes in the UK who will provide latest updates and what opportunities to look out for. The plenary session will be followed by parallel break-out sessions for each of the programmes, allowing participants to deep dive with the respective leads, so you may want to bring more than one representative from your organisation.

The UK has a vibrant landscape of world-leading Earth Observation (EO) academic and industrial organisations and a well-founded reputation for excellence in EO. In the National Space Strategy, the Government committed to remain at the forefront of EO technology and knowhow. The webinar speakers are involved in projects that will deliver essential funding to recognise the importance of this sector and building our national capability.
