GEO Business continues to showcase the potential of climate data from space at its annual event for the geospatial community, including a Space4Climate discussion among some of our members.
Climate Services Development Manager, Krupa Nanda Kumar, will chair the discussion among a panel of speakers representing our membership on the opening day, at 12.30pm, on the Earth Insights Stage.
The title of the discussion is ‘Demystifying Satellite Climate Data Services’. Krupa will be joined by:
- Donna Lyndsay, Vice Chair Space4Climate and Strategic Market Lead for Environment and Sustainability at Ordnance Survey
- Jonathan Hendry, Chief technology Officer at 4Ei
- Francesca Faedi, Non-Executive Director of Agtelligence
- David Burridge, Director of Enterprise Solutions at NV5
They will break down some of the common misconceptions of working with satellite data and inspire the audience to routinely explore integrating more satellite data into their business. Our members will share their experiences of accessing satellite climate data and services, demonstrating to the audience the usability of platforms powered by satellite climate data across various sector applications such as finance, agriculture, flooding and nature.
