Join us for a networking reception for those tackling climate change and making use of climate information.
Mesh is a UK community of individuals involved in climate service provision who network locally. Each event is run by volunteers, who love to bring people together to share knowledge and grow professional networks. The network embraces everyone working in the sector from researchers and civil services to private sector and professional bodies. It brings together those working on tackling climate change and making use of climate information through an evening of networking and exchanging reflections on their work.
To set the context for discussions, attendees are encouraged to attend the Climate Risk Disclosure: implications and climate services for asset owners session in the Buildings Theatre 16:00–17:15 at Futurebuild. The session consists of brief talks on approaches to climate change and adaptation by professionals from green finance, data and asset management spheres.
Please register by midday on the 3rd March to be included in the networking pack which will be sent to all registered attendees. Those registered will be guaranteed admission and refreshments. Others are welcome to join us on the evening to hear more about the networking platform but might get turned away if we’ve reached full capacity.
The reception will be opened by Space4Climate representative Keith Gori, Strategy Manager for Earth Observation and Climate, UK Space Agency
