Join us and our members at the Space Data Theatre on the opening day of Space-Comm Expo, March 4. the Space4Climate session is at 11.20am
Space4Climate will take to the stage at Space-Comm 2026 with a solutions-focused panel whose businesses are unlocking new commercial opportunities across the economy.
Our session ‘Unlocking Value from Space: GeoAI Solutions for a Changing World’ is part of the Innovate UK GeoAI Festival on Day 1.
Satellite-based geospatial data, combined with advances in artificial intelligence, is transforming how organisations understand risk, build resilience and unlock new commercial opportunities across the economy. From climate and nature recovery to finance, agriculture, and utilities, these technologies are moving rapidly from experimental pilots to operational, decision grade services.
Our Tech Showcase and panel discussion will bring together three leading organisations operating at the intersection of satellite geospatial solutions and AI.
Meet our panellists
Space4Climate (S4C) Programme Lead Krupa Nanda Kumar will head the line-up of three industry leaders – Sam Fleming, Co-Founder of our members Earth Blox, James Banting, Vice-President of Research at Sparkgeo, and Jonathan Hendry, Chief Technical Officer of our members 4Ei.
Through real-world use cases and expert discussion, the session will explore how satellite geospatial solutions and AI technologies are being deployed today, the value they are delivering and the journey ahead to scale impact across multiple sectors.
The GeoAI Festival is a new, six-month initiative that began in October 2025, pioneered by Innovate UK Business Connect and the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), led by S4C Board members Oliver Vaughan (Head of EO at DEFRA) and Luca Budello (Geospatial Knowledge Transfer Manager at Innovate UK Business Connect). It aims to support the rapid development of novel commercial solutions to real-world challenges through the use of geospatial AI and Earth Observation data and Krupa was among the experts on hand to support the GeoAI Festival Build and Pitch Sprint in January.
Space Data Theatre
S4C Board member Luca Budello, Knowledge Transfer Manager – Geospatial Insights at Innovate UK Business Connect, will kick off the Space Data Conference at 10am. He will introduce the Ministerial Address by Dame Angela Eagle MP, Minister for Food Security and Rural Affairs who will expand on the recently published Government response to The Space Economy: Act Now or Lose Out.
The Space4Climate panel will take to the stage at 11.20am.
The Earth Observation DataHub (EODH) will be the focus of attention at 5.10pm, when Federica Moscato, of National Centre for Earth Observation, based at CEDA, RAL Space, will set out the vision behind EODH. She will discuss the data it provides, and how it connects with cloud and analytics tools to support GeoAI use cases. The audience will learn how organisations can use the hub to prototype new services, share workflows and scale solutions, helping turn earth observation from a specialist resource into an everyday decision tool.
